MVP - Top 22 for the 2009 season.

After much debate it has been concluded that we require a minimum no of games played to qualify for the MVP list. The entirely arbitary figure of 5 games has been settled on. This allowed 40 players to qualify for the list and the top 22 are listed below.

This list has been constructed using the average runs, bowling points, catching points and stumping points accrued per player, per game, which are then weighted based on the difficulty of the match and whether it was won or lost. Clearly, this system favours all rounders as they will accrue points more quickly. If you think this is unfair, my advise is to learn to bowl or vice versa, learn to bat! The weighting system is outlined below:
